Andrea, a Winnetka resident, wife, and mom to two young children, moved from Toronto, Canada to Chicago in 2009 (for love). After a decade of working for globally renowned hotel companies, as well as time with one of the top planning firms in the city, she established SoiréeSmith in 2017 out of a desire to focus on ensuring her clients were truly present at their own event. SoiréeSmith attracts clients, who, similar to Andrea, most value time with family, support their community, garner a global perspective through travels, and relish personalized experiences. These common threads lead to her core mission as a planner — ensuring our clients feel like a guest at their event.

Strengths: Creativity, Quick Solutions, Wealth of Knowledge, Budget Creation & Spreadsheet Management, Realistic and Detailed Timelines

Education: Bachelor of Commerce, Hospitality & Tourism Management – Ryerson University

Passions: Design, Stationery, Details

Personal Time: Andrea cherishes free time with her family, especially their beloved Friday pizza and movie night tradition, spending time at their pool club, or walking their family dog, Leo. She loves music, be it DJ nights at home, or a live performance.

Favourite Part of a Wedding Day: Watching clients come back up the aisle after their I do's!
