Not just financially, but in the time you devote to make it the perfect celebration.
Your planner is the person you spend the most time with
(either by email, phone, in person — or in these recent days, Zoom) and you should make sure your values and visions align.
At SoiréeSmith we guide our clients through the planning, ensuring you confidently make decisions through our collaborative approach. We present you with the best vendor partners that align with your vision to get you back to prioritizing your other daily commitments.
With over 10 years of working for globally renowned hotel companies, as well as time with one of the top planning firms in the city, and a degree in Hospitality & Tourism Management, I established SoiréeSmith in 2017 out of a desire to focus on clients in my own backyard, my beloved North Shore.
Clients, who like me, value time with family, supporting their community, garnering a global perspective through travels and having personalized experiences.
Throughout my tenure in the industry, I’ve come to possess an innate understanding that the flow and timing of an event is truly the special ingredient for guest experience. And that's why at SoiréeSmith we're driven to ensure that everyone (including you as the host) is fully immersed in the celebration and creating those indelible memories in your head and your heart.

You'll frequently find me wearing a lot of polka-dots and stripes...
however, when it comes to designing weddings I love to rely on subtle plaids and textures over strong patterns

(that’s over 6 miles...or 9.6 kilometers in my Canadian brain)
+ Cherished learning the cultural significance and traditions of weddings for Christian, Persian, Jewish, and Hindu faiths

Leaving a decade in luxury hotels behind after my first child, I realized that I missed the challenge of the events industry and the privilege of being a part of bringing my client's most momentous occasions to life… so, I joined a prestigious event firm in the city and got my hands wet on the other side of the events world. Now? I have two children, and jokingly call SoiréeSmith my third child.
Now, I bring my 15-years of expertise in the events world to you.
When not in planning mode, I cherish spending time with my husband and two children, exploring all the North Shore has to offer us, or cooking - glass of red in hand - and listening to music at home. I look forward to getting to know you!
